1. Looking For a Joy (click for audio sample)
Written by Patrick Levis
You’re looking to be free / But the only roads are circles in this town / And I don’t want to be / The one who’s always chasing you around / Stop me if I’m out of line / I don’t want to make it worse / Just help you open up your eyes
You’re looking for a joy / Searching around the edges of a darkened mind / To cure the pain inside / You’re looking for the easy road / But the only one that leads you where you want to go / Isn’t where you want to go / And it’s not the way you planned it
You’re like a ship at sea / You toss, you turn, you spin and blow around / And I don’t want to be / The one to watch you run your boat aground / Stop me if I’m out of line / I don’t want to make it worse / Just help you open up your eyes
So now you’ve been to every shore / Have you found what you want / Now that every road is explored in every town / What will you do now, what will you do now
2. Only Begun (click for audio sample)
Written by Patrick Levis
Is there a way to know love without pain / Is there a place with rainbows without rain / Is there a way for me to find my way
It’s not like I’m giving up / I’m just waiting and I’m waiting / ‘Cause I’m scared of losing what I got
Don’t hold me too tight in your arms / I’ll break and make you think our love is gone / When it’s only begun
How many wrongs does it take to make one right / Does every tunnel have an end that’s filled with light / Just when I’ve made it and I’m at the end / I’m still one step away / So I’m holding my breath / No I know, no I’m not giving up / I’m just waiting and I’m waiting / ‘Cause I’m scared of losing what I got
3. See the Truth (click for audio sample)
Written by Patrick Levis
Won’t you come, know I’m not / Like what I used to be before / Now I know what’s your thought / But I’m not that man anymore / I’m not that man anymore
You could look into my eyes / And see there’s nothing new / But if you could see my heart / You would see / You’d see the truth
Freckled face, five foot eight / Hair still brown and eyes still blue / But deep inside my brand new heart / My friend, I’m just the same as you / My friend, I’m just the same as you
You’ll try to steal joy from off my face / But this, you’re not taking it away / ‘Cause down in my heart my God has placed / A hope, and everlasting never ending faith
4. Giving You Glory (click for audio sample)
Written by Patrick Levis
My soul is way down, silence is its sound / Oppressed I go mourning from day to day / The enemies around me, they say / Where is your God, Where is your God
Deep calls unto deep at the sound of Your works / The water sings glory as it falls to earth / The waves You created have gone over me / From Jordan to Mizar I search for peace / How will I fall down, recognize Your crown, it takes
Giving You glory, giving you all praise / Lamb of power and glory / Coming to Your throne of grace / Woe is me, and so I bow / With the fiery coal of forgiveness / I’m learning how to give You glory
Panting for water / Thirsting for God, the Living God / My tears have been my water / But now I’ve found water that runs not out / When will I come before my God in glory / Until that day I’ll be
You are my strength in weakness (He is faithful to calm the storm) / In You I am content amid the storm / My self-reliance is foolishness (In my weakness He is strong) / But in You Lord, in You Lord I’m strong
5. Hear Me (click for audio sample)
Written by Rick Horio
She’s heard it all / It doesn’t seem to change her / Been through it all / But nothing seems to phase her / If only she would just consider / I believe she’d see that she’s a sinner
Only by Your grace / Can she know the hope that’s found in You / So I pray / That Your love would lead her back to You
Hear my cry, hear my plea / Rescue her, I’m begging You please / So how long, Lord, until she sees / ‘Cause I have faith that she’ll believe in You
He once believed / But now he’s not so certain / He used to see / But now he can’t determine / If You’re good, then why are people helpless / And how could You leave so many hopeless/ He may not believe / You will give him faith to call his own / But I believe / You will give him faith to lead him home
Hear my cry, hear my plea / Rescue him, I’m begging You please / So how long, Lord, until he sees / ‘Cause I have faith that he’ll believe in You
Hear my cry, hear my plea / Rescue them, I’m begging You please / So how long, Lord, until they see / ‘Cause I have faith that they’ll believe in You
Rescue them, I’m begging You please / So how long, Lord, until they see / ‘Cause I have faith that they’ll believe in You

7. Worlds Apart (click for audio sample)
Written by Patrick Levis
Worlds apart, are You and I Lord / Your ways are not like mine and I’m thankful Lord / Worlds apart, You’re separate and pure / My understanding God it cannot reach Yours / It cannot reach Yours / I look to the sky, the earth, and the sea / And I ponder Your greatness and how it could be / That You spoke into being the world and all that I see / Where can I go from Your Spirit who guides me / Where could I flee from Your presence and glory / If I fly to heaven or dive to the deep You’re there
Oh, I stand in awe (I stand in awe of Your infinite greatness) / Oh, my all in all (My all in all You are everything to me)
Oh, the depth of the riches, the wisdom, the knowledge / Oh, unsearchable wisdom and knowledge past finding out / Oh, before there was time, now and forevermore / You are God, You are God
8. Covered in the Son (click for audio sample)
Written by Patrick Levis
I’m a new creation / The old has gone, the new has come
I have a strong confession / I’m holding fast to God the Son / I’m putting off myself / To trust in Christ and no one else
He made Him who knew no sin / To be sin for this man whose only end was dead in sin / I thank you Lord that my battle’s won / And I’m righteous in Your blood / So Father let Your kingdom come / ‘Cause I’m covered in the Son
By reconciliation / In Jesus Christ the Perfect One / I’m called to go and serve Him / To tell others what the Lord has done / He laid my sin on Him / Now when He looks upon me He sees Him
On the cross God treated Christ / As if He had lived my life / So that He could treat me as if I / As if I had lived His
9. Ordinary Girl (click for audio sample)
Written by Patrick Levis
She was just eighteen, had beauty on the inside and the out / I was just lonely little me, but I loved her anyhow /Caught her eye when I was in town / Thought maybe it’s my chance to say hello / When her gaze went to the ground, I think my heart fell out
She was an ordinary girl, no good reason to stay / She wouldn’t fit in in this world, only get in the way / She wasn’t made for this place, nobody cared anyway / She’s just an ordinary girl
It was May, 1988 / So many people passing by the biggest building in town / Well I don’t know why but I was walking around / I remember the day like yesterday, when she came down / Some thought she was walking on the roof / Just taking in the view / But when they found the letter in her hand / Everybody knew
Girl I was sure we were made for each other / Why did you take that away and leave me/ Wondering if you’d ever said that you loved me / But now you can’t say, because you’re gone
She wasn’t made for this place
Nobody cared anyway…
10. Not Alone (click for audio sample)
Written by Patrick Levis
I’m sitting in the sun on a bench in the park / Watching the people pass me by / I’m not gonna stare too long but I got / To thinking about the way we live our lives
Well I don’t really know what all the rush is for / Like trying to find your way through the dark / But I guess there’s got to be a little more / Than sitting watching people in the park
I know it’s a long way home / And I know, I know it’s a long way home
‘Cause even if I don’t know which way to go / I figure if I just keep on walking down the road / I’m thinking I’ll find the place my heart was meant to go / I’m walking a lonely path with no one but I know / I’m not alone
So now it’s time for me / To get my feet on the ground / Day dreaming is fine / But the time to live my life is now
Because I know, I know it won’t be very long / And I know, I know this place is not my home
I’m not alone (Try reaching for the stars) / I’m not alone (Let love fill your heart) / I’m not alone (Live life with all you are) / I’m not alone (Know it’s possible with God)
11. Lucy Found a River (click for audio sample)
Written by Patrick Levis
Lucy was her name she was destined for fame / But at eight she almost drowned / Down by the river, rainy September / With a couple friends she knew from town / We grew up together / Playing in the pouring rain / But something happened at the river / ‘Cause Lucy was never the same
Lucy found a river / Lucy found where love’d come from / Lucy found a purpose
Lucy found the way that she was gonna get home
Lucy and her mama spent over three hours / Talking about death and life / She couldn’t stop herself from praying to God / She said thank you Lord that I’m alive / We grew up together, I’d never seen Lucy like this / Talking about living forever, she found happiness
Lucy is old now, she’s the finest lady I know / Didn’t become what the world around her wanted / But she found the way to point her soul / We grew old together, had times like I’d never known / Then one rainy night in September / Lucy said I’m ready to go, I’m ready to go home
12. Found Victorious (click for audio sample)
Written by Patrick Levis
Found victorious, though I wander / Grace and mercy abound to me / Once an orphan without a father / Once was lost, but now I’m free
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit / Three in One before time / Fashioned seas, and earth, and heaven / With a word He created life
Human nature fights against Him / Though I’m just a piece of clay / Lest He call for our destruction / His lovingkindness gives us time to believe
